Both the Temple and pavilion buildings are Grade 1 listed, dating back from the early 1700's. Much of the original architecture and elegant decor still remains giving you a unique, interesting and memorable venue in which to celebrate one of the most important days of your life.

The peaceful landscaped gardens, informal shrubberies and lightly wooded areas provide a peaceful backdrop for your photographs. There are two mooring points for those wishing to arrive or depart in style by boat.

Our aim is to provide good food, attention to detail and professional service in an atmosphere of friendly hospitality. With our experienced team and excellent reputation for quality, Monkey Island is the perfect location for discerning visitors.

Planning your wedding is never the easiest of tasks with numerous details to discuss and many ideas to consider. However, it should also be fun and stress free. One of your first considerations should be finding a reliable venue. At Monkey Island, we will gladly offer you guidance based on many years of experience and successful weddings, to ensure all your requirements are met in full.

The first stage will be to visit our unique facilities and talk through your requirements in more detail.
